Tea is a huge part of Irish culture, it is a way for people to share warmth and show hospitality to guests. In the Irish home, it is customary to offer your guests a cup of tea. Having a bad day a cup of tea will help. Having a great day? Pour a cup of tea with friends to celebrate. When I think of my experiences with tea I am always reminded of home and my time that I spent in Ireland with family members. I made this 3D render of a teapot, when coming up with the design of the teapot shape I wanted to make something different from the average round shape that is most commonly associated with teapots. I was interested in creating a long shape for the body of the pot. I also wanted to make the teapot feel as though it was metallic or a glaze had been placed over it.
