TSM Stop motion drawing

Horses are a constant subject that comes up in my artwork and has been a huge role in my life. From owning all the Breyer horses, taking riding lessons, and watching Black Beauty and National Velvet on a daily basis I made sure horses were my whole world. Whenever I was bored in elementary school and middle school I would always draw horses on the scrap pieces of paper that I had. When I had multiple pages I remember that I would make little stop motions of horses doing different actions like trotting, cantering, and jumping. In this project I wanted to recreate one of the stop motions that I created when I was younger because horses are still very prevalent in my work today as a college student. The saying they will grow out of this horse phase eventually, but I think that is totally wrong because I feel that horses will always be apart of my life no matter how old I am. I think as an artist it is important to find the things that we are the most passionate about in life and make as much art out of it.
